As Senior Automation Engineer, you design and deliver automation that enables secure, repeatable and compliant delivery of customer-specific Digital Sovereign Private Cloud environments. You operate at the core of the DevSecOps delivery team, translating customer and platform requirements into automated provisioning, deployment and operational workflows.

You are responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD, GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code foundations that allow customer environments to be deployed, changed and operated in a controlled, auditable and scalable way. Your work directly determines delivery speed, platform reliability and compliance consistency across customer implementations.

Experience:
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD and GitOps tooling such as GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Tekton or similar.
• Proven experience designing and operating automation for production-grade environments.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift platform concepts.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible or similar.
• Experience integrating security, compliance and quality controls into automated delivery pipelines.

Profile:
• Strong IT background with focus on automation, cloud-native platforms and DevSecOps practices.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in automation or platform delivery roles.
• Comfortable operating in customer environments with strict compliance and availability requirements.
• Willingness to undergo required background screening (e.g. BO+).
• Relevant certifications (Cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps) are a plus.

Duties:
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD and GitOps-based automation for customer-specific OpenShift platform environments.
• Implement release, configuration and deployment automation using tools such as ArgoCD, Helm, YAML and pipeline frameworks.
• Automate provisioning, configuration and lifecycle management of platform components using Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Embed security scanning, compliance validation, testing and approval flows into delivery pipelines.
• Ensure all automation complies with sovereign, security and compliance baselines defined by the global DSPC platform.
• Implement pipelines that deploy directly into customer environments in a controlled, traceable and auditable manner.
• Support customer acceptance testing, controlled releases and deployment requests.
• Continuously improve automation reliability, observability, error handling and rollback mechanisms.
• Collaborate closely with platform, security and reliability engineers to embed operational standards as code.
• Support audits, security validations and compliance evidence generation through automated controls and reporting.
